Hi, my name’s Konal and I’m a digital artist from Fife, Scotland. I specialise in pop culture portraiture. I’ve been passionate about drawing since I was a wee child. I excelled in school art projects and in my spare time would sketch cartoon characters like SpongeBob and the Simpsons family. I even dabbled in Microsoft Paint.

I’ve always been “the artist” in both my family and friend circles. They would always encourage me to pursue art as a career and start selling my work. However, I was very precious with my own work and didn’t want to give them away. Also, while I recognised the talent within me, I didn’t think my art was worth any financial value. For a while, I didn’t enjoy being boxed in to one trait but as I’ve grown, I can better appreciate that my talents are being acknowledged by those around me.

As of 2024, I’ve transitioned from pen and paper to using the software, Procreate, for all my artistic projects. Becoming a digital artist has brought a whole new range of exciting possibilities for what I can create! Several pieces of work have already been gifted to loved ones or even sold so I feel like I’m finally ready to embrace the career of an artist!
